SYNOPSIS
"Anything can enter your life, anything can leave your life. We live what we choose... " Life drafts, collected on a journey over many thousands of kilometres with countless encounters and deeply touching stories. "Satya- Rough Cuts of Life" tells in kaleidoscopically shimmering episodes about people and their struggle for a place in society - for "Satya", a dignified, true life. Karuna A. Fuchs is a traveler and photographer and you can see that in every shot of his film. The seemingly effortless mobility of the camera, the precise, open view. From Nepal, India, via Iran and Turkey the film takes us along the Silk Road to Europe. And thus back to ourselves.
